There are several types of freckles.
1. The freckles A are small brown spots scattered generally on cheekbones, noses, faces, upper arms or shoulders areas (in caucasian) or areas exposed to sunlight. This can occur in early age. It believes that sunlight and genetics result in freckles.

2. Hori's Nevus is light brown Spot Often found in Asian skin ranging from 20-30 years on both sides of cheekbones.
Treatment : Treatment is similar to shallow freckles. It is curable but takes longer time and may reoccurs. There are techniques that allow doctors to treat Hori's Nevus with fast results and maximum efficiency and prevent hyperpigmentation (PIH) after treatment by combining the two types of lasers which are Ruby laser/Revlite laser and fraxel laser. 3. Solar Lentigines is brown spot on face arms backhand or area exposed to sunlight. It usually occurs in middle-aged or elderly people and can be cured with laser.
